Day 1 - Arrival

On arrival at Bangalore/Coimbatore airport/railway station, get assistance and transfer to Ooty. Check into your hotel. The evening is free for relaxation. Overnight stay at the hotel in Ooty.

Day 2 - Sightseeing

After breakfast, you will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the 'Queen of the Blue Mountains', that includes a visit to Dodabetta peak for a spectacular view. Later drive to Coonoor and visit the Sim's Park and the Dolphin Nose View Point. There is free time for leisure. Overnight stay at a hotel in Ooty.

Day 3 - Sightseeing

Breakfast at the hotel. In the day, visit the Government Botanical Gardens and the famous Ooty lake. Overnight stay at the hotel in Ooty.

Day 4 - Departure

After breakfast, proceed to Bangalore/Coimbatore Railway Station/Airport.

2 : Best of Coorg & Ooty (04nights)

Detailed Itinerary :

Day 1 - Arrive in Bangalore and Proceed to Coorg (260 Km / 6 hours)

Arrive in Bangalore and drive to Coorg. En route, visit Kaveri Nisargadhama and Golden Temple. As soon as you arrive in Coorg, check in at the hotel where overnight stay facilities are arranged.

Day 2 - Sightseeing in Coorg

After breakfast, visit Dubare Elephant Camp, Abbey Falls, Raja Seat, Madikeri Fort and Mandalpatti View Point by jeep (Jeep cost should be borne by guest) and Omkareshwar Temple. Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 - Coorg to Ooty (240 Km / 6 hours)

Relish a tasty breakfast, check out from the hotel and head to Ooty. Enjoy a drive through Mudumalai forest and Bandipur National Park. As soon as you arrive in Ooty, check in at the hotel. Spend the evening at leisure or indulge in a shopping spree at the local markets. Stay overnight at the hotel, in Ooty.

Day 4 - Ooty Sightseeing

Visit Doddabetta Peak and enjoy the panoramic view from the hilltop. Visit Botanical Garden, Rose Garden, Tea Factory and Ooty Lake. Later, head for Coonoor sightseeing and visit Dolphin's Nose, Lamb's Rock, Sim's Park and Tea garden. Stay overnight at the hotel, in Ooty.

Day 5 - Depart from Ooty (260 Km / 7 hours)

Return to the airport/railway station in Bangalore and enjoy your onward journey.

Day 1 - Arrive in Bangalore/Coimbatore

On arrival in Bangalore/Coimbatore, you will be picked up and transferred to Mysore. En-route, you will visit some of the magnificent monuments of Srirangapatna. Check in at the hotel in Mysore and rest for a while. Then proceed for a sightseeing tour of Mysore covering the Chamundi Hills, Big Bull, Maharaja's Palace, Brindavan Gardens (a beautiful garden exhibiting vast variety of colourful flowers), Jaganmohan Palace (an architectural marvel that belongs to the royal family) and St. Philomena's Cathedral. Chamundi Hills is an iconic landmark of Mysore that stands at an elevation of 3,300 feet and houses a famous temple dedicated to Goddess Chamundi. On your way up the hill, you can visit the Bull Temple as well. Maharaja's Palace or the Mysore Palace is a prominent attraction of the city that belongs to the Wodeyar rulers and a must-visit when in Mysore. Finally, return to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2 - Mysore - Coorg

Have breakfast in the morning and leave for Coorg on this day. Tea and coffee estates, rich forest, foggy hills and enchanting views make Coorg one of the best destinations to visit. On the way, you can visit Namdroling Monastery (one of the largest centres of Tibetian Buddhism teachings known as Nyingmapa) and Nisargadhama. Nisargadhama is a beautiful island surrounded by River Cauvery that is home to lush greenery and offers fun activities like boating and elephant rides. Finally, arrive in Coorg and rest for the night.

Day 3 - Coorg Sightseeing

Have a delicious breakfast and leave for Nagarhole National Park, Coorg. It is one of the primary Tiger Reserves in India along with the Bandipur adjacent Tiger Reserve. Furthermore, visit Dubare Elephant Camp, where you can watch elephants being trained and also enjoy fun elephant rides. Abbey Falls is a popular attraction situated about 10 km away from Madikeri. It is an adventurous walk up to the falls that gushes down from 70 feet, amid lush forests. Also explore other places of interest such as Talakaveri (built at the source of Kaveri river and home to a holy temple; it also offers scenic views of misty hills), Sri Bhagandeshwara Temple and Omkareshwara Temple before you retreat to your hotel in Coorg.

Day 4 - Coorg - Ooty

Have a good breakfast and start your journey to the beautiful hill station of Ooty. Check in at the hotel and later, you can opt to go on a ride on the Ooty Toy Train as well. Then stay overnight in Ooty.

Day 5 - Ooty Sightseeing

After a good breakfast, go on to visit prominent places of interest like the Government Botanical Garden, Rose Garden, Doddabetta Peak (highest mountain in the Nilgiri Mountains) and Thread Garden. Enjoy the serenity around the gorgeous lakes of Ooty such as the Ooty Lake, Upper Bhavani Lake, Emerald Lake, Pykara Lake and Avalanche Lake. Stroll around the Government Botanical Garden and Rose Garden and admire unique varieties of roses and plants. In Coonoor, you will get to visit the Dolphin's Nose (5,075 ft), Highfield Tea Factory, Lamb's Rock (5,000 ft. above sea level) and Sim`s Park (a beautiful botanical park at 1,780 m above sea level). Day 6 - End of Tour

4 : Essence of Karnataka (06nights)

Day 1 - Drive from Bangalore to Mysore (140 km/approx. 3 hours) | Sightseeing in Mysore

Arrive in Bangalore and visit Srirangapatnam, the capital of Hyder Ali and his son, Tipu Sultan. Arrive in Mysore and check in to your hotel. In the evening, visit the famous Brindavan Gardens and enjoy the musical fountain and light show. Return to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 2 - Sightseeing in Mysore | Drive from Mysore to Coorg (120 km/approx. 2.5 hours)

After breakfast, check out and proceed to visit one of the best-preserved Hoysala temples at Somnathpur. In the afternoon, visit the famous Mysore Palace. Drive to Coorg. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and stay overnight.

Day 3 - Sightseeing in Coorg

After breakfast, enjoy a half-day tour with visits to coffee plantations, orange orchards and paddy fields in Mercara, the largest town in Coorg. Overlooking the town is a sprawling fortress built by the Rajas of Coorg on a hill. Nearby stands a temple of Lord Omkareswara (one of the twelve Jyotirling), which shows an unusual combination of the Hindu and Islamic styles of architecture. Return to the hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 4 - Drive from Coorg to Bandipur (200 km/approx. 5 hours)

After breakfast, depart for Bandipur. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Spend the remaining day at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 - Drive from Bandipur to Ooty (50 km/approx. 1.5 hours)

Go on a jungle safari early in the morning. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Then, check out and depart for Ooty. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Ooty.

Day 6 - Sightseeing in Ooty

Visit Doddabetta Peak, the highest peak of Ooty. From here you will see a panoramic view of the neighbouring regions. Go to Coonoor and visit Sim's Park and Dolphin Nose.
